Has anyone here tried or know anything about this product? I’m very interested in the supposed “blurry effect” it has without giving any pigment to the skin, but I’ve only seen reviews from YouTuber and I’m curious what the average makeup user is doing. thought. Thank you!
Seems very gimmicky and no different to a mildly blurring primer.
Too Much Mouth reviewed one of these “no pigment” foundations on YT a month or two ago and it’s literally just a glorified primer. It does seem gimmicky though and I wouldn’t purchase it.
I tried it but personally did not like it. I think if you have basically perfect skin (no redness, blemishes, very light discoloration) you may like it. I think it slightly brightened my skin but it reminded me of the L’Oréal perfecting base, even though it’s not a primer. I returned it and wouldn’t purchase again
For the same effect you can just apply a cheaper blurring primer. Have to agree with everyone so far who’s said it’s a gimmick thing. It’s severely overpriced for what little it does.
It is essentially a primer. Shortly after the Smashbox primer went mainstream and other brands started really making primers this one of the things primers were marketed as. That you can wear it with no foundation if you want. For a a while that went away and it was only for use under foundation. It seems like Becca just really introduced an old selling point and made it the focus of one product.
i got a sample of it and it didn’t do much of anything that you can’t get from a product in the $10-20 range. it blurred very minimally, had a bit of a glow, and created a nice base for makeup. if you want a nice blurring primer i’d recommend the haley’s beauty re:fine primer, it’s $12 and does a better job.
