So I have been very excited about colourpop since I found it a few months ago. I found it while looking for purple makeup, found lilac in the palette and must have had it since my favorite color / flower is lilac. I have a few other things from them. But now I see a lot of … weird things with the brand. Plus, with almost nothing in stock, I hope to find another brand to enjoy. If you like the colourpops formula, are there other brands you like that are roughly in the same price range? Anyway, even if you don’t know / use colourpop, what are your decently priced brands? But do good formulas with good pigments pay off? I saw that Revolution had a nightmare before Christmas which was cool, but I have no idea how good their shadows are. Noting that I’m pretty much only into eye shadow and lip products. I like bright colors. Feel free to ask questions / discuss. I would love to have a good, in-depth conversation with lots of opinions! I’m still new to exploring makeup, with Revlon Magnifeyes, maybelline citi minis, and colourpop being all I’ve really used.
Essence!! Their primers and mascaras are fantastic.
In addition to Essence, ELF has really stepped their eyeshadow/lipstick game up. I always have a couple products from them in my rotation.
Maybelline is another great brand that I personally feel could go toe-to-toe with a mid-end brand.
If you’re into bright, bold colors, Juvia’s Place is also worth checking out, but if you’re conscious of who you give your money to, the owner has been a little problematic, so definitely do your research if you’re someone that cares about that sort of thing.
