Oh boy, this did not look nice at all which is a shame because good quality cheap foundations are hard to come by. It looked dry from the outset and Iโm really surprised it transferred so easily given that it was *so* matte.

๐ Foundation Review & Wear Test ๐ง #nofilter #noedits
Foundation: Morphe Fluidity Full-Coverage Foundation
Price: $18.00 (currently on sale for $7.00)
Shade: available in 60 shades, mine is in F1.50 (fair with neutral undertones)
Fragrance: yes; strong paint-like scent.
Type: soft-matte finish, 24-hr long wear, sweatproof, transfer-resistant, water-resistant
Style: 1.0 fl ounces, squeeze-tube applicator, plastic-tube bottle, cruelty-free, vegan, made in USA, 12M PAO
Application Method: brush followed by damp sponge
Oxidization: yes; definitely recommend purchasing a shade or two lighter due to oxidation
Extra Information: fragrance-free (claim, but not true), paraben-free, oil-free, for all skin types
Rules: no base primer, no powder or setting spray, no other makeup to affect wear – just the foundation
โญ Initial Application: Learning curve w/ application (dried fast, a little goes a LONG way), liquid-thin consistency, full-coverage, covered redness, covered shine, covered the redness of blemishes & darkness of my melasma, matte-finish, shade match was too light for me until it oxidized, more ‘heavy’ looking than other foundations on my most porous areas.
๐ 2-Hour Mark: for a transfer-resistant foundation, it was pretty quick to transfer off of my nose, it is settling into my lines, & overall looks pretty dry on my skin
๐ 5-Hour Mark: wear on my chin, looks worse on my nose, blemishes are red again
๐ 8-Hour Mark: just overall looks too dry, chin completely transferred off, melasma showing now
๐ 12-Hour Mark: not much change – nose looks patchy, skin looks dry
๐งผ Removal: removed easily w/ makeup wipe
๐ค Final Thoughts: shade match could be easier without such heavy oxidation, decent price (especially on sale), I wouldn’t say it’s for ‘all skin types’ – if dry skin wore this, they’d be disappointed, accentuated my pores & looked ‘heavy’, wore off unevenly on nose & chin, NOT all-day long wear – good for 5 hours max. I’d recommend heavy moisturization & a hydrating primer for this.
