I’ve spent a good chunk of the last year learning how to do makeup and picked up some basic skills. And I want to take it to another level. What are the techniques that beginners generally lack? What products do you think people who want to take things up a notch should grab?
I’ve been slowly upgrading my brushes to fude brushes. Every one I have bought has been a huge upgrade and made my makeup go on so much easier than my cheaper brushes.

For example, with me I know I need to get better at contouring my nose, blush (because I always look like a clown) and I still need to work on getting better with smokey eyes.
Definitely think I should get something better for contouring (because I just use a stick), never dealt with powders probably should, and I’m still using the $1 wet n wild eyeshadow brush should probably upgrade.
