➡️ NOTE: This the way that I do makeup; if you don’t like it – nobody’s forcing you to create the looks. As always, use/buy the makeup that makes YOU happy. Also, none of my stuff is sponsored. I do it for fun.
……
Today I wanted to really dig deep into this palette, & see what kind of looks I could create. I wanted to use the different finishes and highlight them as much as possible.
This is the Karity Beauty ‘Picante’ Palette, a warm-toned, 21-shade spectrum of endless possibilities.
There is no eyeliner, no false lashes, no other palette – just the eye-look.
……
LOOKS:
▪️Style #1: Orange Look – this is my favorite look out of the 3. All the shades worked well, & the look was easy to do & came out great!
▪️Style #2: Red Look – this one is just ‘okay’. I wish I had a darker, more vampy red to incorporate, but I was stuck using ‘epice’, which is purple-toned. Also, the shade ‘spicy’ would NOT build upon itself, so I had a LOT of trouble trying to get that shade to even show.
▪️Style #3: Sunset Look – this is my least favorite look. The design came out nice, but the matte colors underperformed BIG TIME. You can’t even see the orange & yellow above the crease, & I layered SO MUCH shadow there.

FORMULAS USED:
MATTE: 2/10 – unbuildable, unlayerable, lacks pigment, extremely easy to blend
FOILED METALLICS: 10/10 – some of the absolute BEST metallics I’ve ever used, picks up easily on a brush
