Posted in the beauty group too, sorry if you’ve seen this twice! I’m so new to skin care, but just wanted to wear less makeup (at least foundation) and have really beautiful skin. I was intending to purchase the CC + matte oil-free cream from IT Cosmetic. Was also learning the BB from Dr Jart. I was also interested in purchasing a new primer. I have worn liquid foundation for years (Lancôme mainly) but I really don’t like how I can always tell I am wearing it. If that makes sense. I just want something that looks like skin. If anyone knows this is good or if you have any other recommendations please lmk. Do I look like I’m wearing something? I’ve been using Smashbox primer for years, but wanted to try something new, and something that maybe could help my skin! I know IT has a primer, but I’ve been a bunch of people saying it’s not that good for oily skin. I have medium skin tone and it is oily / combination (seems to be more winter rn bc combination maybe, but trust me I’m getting super oily) and I have occasional breakouts. I have large pores and this has always been a problem for me :(. Lmk if you have any recommendations !!
I have combo/oily skin too and wrote up my impressions of IT’s oil-free matte CC cream here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeupAddiction/comments/lznydc/it_cosmetics_cc_cream_for_acne_prone_skin/gq3sehe?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3
A CC cream I like much better is Purlisse’s youth Glow Vitamin C CC cream. The shade range is limited right now, though. You can order a travel size for ~$10 to try it out if you’re interested.
Some primers with hydrating/skin care benefits I’ve liked are Too Faced Hangover primer, and First Aid Beauty’s coconut skin smoothie primer. Purlisse has a few primers too but I haven’t been able to try them out yet.
