Hello! this question is about skin care and makeup so I’m not sure on the correct subreddit. I apologize if this is not the place. I am very new to skin care (all I did before was basic moisturizer and only at night I know ..) I slowly build my skin care routine from now I use moisturizer, eye cream, sunscreen before makeup. the problem is, the product is building up in my thick eyebrows and it looks really bad. I brushed it with an eyebrow brush but it takes a long time and I want to avoid it in the first place. my makeup does not hold well (around the nose and under the eyes) Am I using too much product? do I need to allow even more time between coats? it’s already prolonging my morning routine of having to wait for each diaper to dry … I can’t imagine waiting even longer! What am I doing wrong? also if that helps i mainly wear bb cream applied with a wet beauty blender
Try layering by building VERY light layers upon another. Too much product is a recipe for disaster.
Avoid your eyebrows. You don’t need bb cream there. It may take practice. So, practice.

Do you have very dry skin? Do you live in a very dry climate?
I think the key here is also knowing your skin type and your weather. If your skin doesn’t need that much hydration you could even get away with only wearing sunscreen underneath your makeup.
For reference, I have oily-combination skin and I live in a humid place. So sometimes I only wear sunscreen before I put the rest of my makeup on. On days when my skin is dryer I only put a thin layer of moisturizer under my sunscreen, then makeup.
Also, your AM and PM routine can differ. Most people I know use eyecream only at night. And honestly you don’t really need eyecream, you can just layer your moisturizer on areas that need more hydration instead of buying a separate product for them.
Sometimes, less is more.
