Hi guys! Showing for the first time here, and I feel like this is such a stupid problem … am I using the tuning spray incorrectly? I have always been wearing makeup, tried several brands of setting spray and felt none of them worked. After 3-5 hours, my lower lash line is TOPPED in mascara. The only solution I have found so far is to wear false eyelashes on top, but it is not my daily life. I’m not a big fan of waterproof mascara but I feel like it’s my only choice. Help!
I find that setting spray only really works on everything else except the eyelash, I’d suggest spraying then putting on mascara. I hate waterproof too so I use tubing mascara, it’s a step up from regular mascara, it stays on longer and doesn’t smudge as much with the oils and sweat on your face, as it’s not a pigment, but polymer based! good luck 🌸
What i do with setting spray is always apply it before mascara/brow gel/lip gloss, and keep my eyes closed while I fan myself with an open book until it dries then I go in with the mascara/gel/lipgloss just so everything sits nicely and no eyeshadow shifts as a result of me opening my eyes while they’re damp

I usually put mascara after setting spray, I find that works best for me, as I have too sensitive eyes for waterproof mascara. Maybe try that and see if it is any better?
I use IT Bye Bye Undereye powder. I very finely milled powder that is like silk. I use the pointed end of a beauty blender to tap and smooth it just under the bottom lashes (not the whole undereye area but I guess you could). This keeps bottom lash mascara from transferring and the finely milled powder doesn’t get cakey if applied just under the eyelash area.
Apply setting spray before foundation, so it creates a barrier between your skin and the foundation (and so stopping the oils breaking through).
