🔎 REVIEW:
🔸️Patchiness: no patchiness
🔸️Blendability: a little on the harder side to blend out; it eventually blends – it just needs a lot of coercion
🔸️Fallout: experienced some fallout, mostly from the matte shade ‘Passion’
🔸️Shade Variance: this palette doesn’t have much depth to it. In order to create a dimensional look, you may need to hop into another palette.
🔸️Formula: the mattes are a tad harder to blend, but once you get ’em going, you can create a nice gradient with them. They are extremely soft in nature. I actually quite like the ABH sequin formula. The microglitters are very tiny, and these shades can be used as matte blending shades or packed on for a vibrant look. The metallics are my favorite formula in this palette. They are so heavily shiny, that they are more like ‘foiled’ shades. In my opinion, the duo-chromes contained in this palette are very slight in effect, & are not reminiscent of the incredible duo-chromes we see on the market today. There were no duds in this palette.
🔸️Packaging: I really like this packaging. It’s different & fun. Plus, my favorite color is purple – so, awesome!
🔸️Recommendation: the color-story is definitely ‘whimsical’, so I think the brand nailed that. It’s a nice mix of neutrals with color, & the perfect palette for a person who is looking to dabble in a little bit of color with their eyeshadow. The price per shade is pretty decent, & I think the formula is on par (in regard to the price). The palette itself is easy to store. I am keeping this in my collection. If you are interested in this palette, I would definitely recommend it.
