Review: I love sponges. SOFT sponges. I tried each sponge included in this set, & no matter how much water I put in them, or how much I ‘broke them in’, they stayed as hard as a rock. I didn’t get ANY enjoyment out of applying my makeup, & you can find better quality sponges for a wayyy cheaper price.

👉 Black Radiance ‘Eye Appeal’ Eyeshadow Base
Review: Black Radiance is one of my favorite brands because they have great, pigmented products at an affordable price. HOWEVER, this eyeshadow base was a let-down. It is nothing more than a HIGH shine jelly pigment, & since it’s SO shiny, it shows through your eyeshadow look. It’s pretty as a single shadow, but NOT as a base.

👉 Lurella ‘Sweet Valentine’ Eyeshadow Palette
Review: I don’t run into too many horrible palettes these days, with the competition so strong – but OMG. This palette was dismal. The shimmers that actually show up are SUPER flaky & fall-outy, the mattes just don’t move as soon as you lay them down, and I had to literally wipe my eyeshadow look off & redo it when I used this palette because it’s so hard to work with. It’s one of those situations where it swatches pretty, but don’t let it fool you.

Review: Sadly, I haven’t had very good luck with anything from this brand, but this powder was BAD. It feels like an HD powder, & is SUPER dusty. The worst part is that it turned my entire face ghost white, & would not wipe off.

Review: Lipgloss is one of those ‘feel-good’ things. It just finishes a look. The color of this lipgloss was gorgeous, but my issue lies in the applicator. It is a brush-tip, & after only a few uses the small hairs on the tip have frayed & splayed into an entirely different shape. It makes precision application an impossibility, & very irritating.

Review: I’m happy to report that I’m not really picky with my skincare. I’m pretty knowledgeable about it, & I like my stuff to work. The first thing about this is that it smells disgusting. Not like watermelon. The worst part is that it doesn’t remove your makeup. You’d figure, as a makeup removing product that it would do that. Nope. For that reason, I don’t trust it to further cleanse my skin in the way that I look for cleansers to work.
