🔎 REVIEW:
🔸️Patchiness: no patchiness
🔸️Blendability: really easy to blend
🔸️Fallout: experienced some fallout, the most being from matte shade ‘Brick’
🔸️Shade Variance: there is a nice range of light, midtone, & deep shades. There are multiple traditional ‘neutral transition shades’ for a range of skintones.
🔸️Formula: The mattes are soooo fun to work with because the texture is unparalleled. They are almost cream-like. The shimmer formula doesn’t need to be wet to have full opacity on your eyelid. You can pick them up easily with a brush & apply directly to the eye. Now, I personally like & enjoy pressed glitters – & these are different than you will find in many palettes. The actual glitter particles are VERY tiny, so it’s almost like a foiled shadow. There is a base pigment to each glitter, so you can use it solo. They also stick really well, so a glitter glue isn’t a necessity for this particular formula. You know I’m a stickler for matte blacks in palettes, & the shade ‘Coal’ is high-performance, & I would feel comfortable incorporating it into any look. It’s not patchy, or lacking pigment. There were no duds in this palette.
🔸️Packaging: I personally like this packaging, & think it’s compact enough for a larger palette, & it doesn’t scream ‘Holiday’ to me – making it fun to use any time of the year
🔸️Recommendation: this has quickly become one of my favorite palettes – mostly because the formula is EXCEPTIONALLY amazing, & it’s a pleasure to work with. More importantly, the range of shades contained within gives you unlimited OPTIONS for creativity. The price per shade is remarkable for the quality, & it’s not a pain to store away. I’m going to keep this one in my collection, & highly recommend it.
