calling all lovers and artist I’m a complete beginner makeup I’m 21 but have baby features and a very small face every time I try to do makeup it looks weird and it has looks bad and it doesn’t suit my question is what face and eye shape do you have and makeup tips for me.
I recommend playing around lip products, itās easy and it makes you look put together. With your skin tone maybe trying playing around with some warm nudes/browns. I like Nyx and Mac. Also, placing blush and bronzer high on your cheekbones (higher then you might think) can help with baby face. I hope this helps, youāre really pretty!
Stick to the basics at first. Light concealer/foundation on places you want to correct. A clear or tinted brow gel and some masscara. You could also try a light dusting of blush to the upper temples coming down onto the cheeks. Finish off with a bit of highlight (I always use my finger as I think I can blend it better) and some pinky nude lipstick/lipgloss. If you are feeling brave you could try adding a splash of colour to your lower lash line or some colour eyeliner. Hope this is helpful. Good luck and don’t be afraid to experiment it all washes off at the end of the day šā¤
You have a great complexion and amaaazing brows. I personally like more natural, dewy makeup on myself so here are my recommendations! (This might be long, hang in there)
Products I would suggest are:
Primer – Elf dewy primer putty
Foundation – Morphe 2 Hint Hint Skin Tint
Concealer – Makeup Revolution Eye Bright Concealer
Contour – NYX Wonder Stick (I sometimes use the concealer on this one, too)
Blush – Elf Monochromatic Multi Stick (I think the guava would look great on you)
Brows – Kyda Brow Styling Soap
Eyeshadow – ColourPop Crush Eyeshadow Pallet (good basic colors!)
Mascara – Essence Lash Princess
Setting powder – Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder For Under Eyes
Setting Spray – ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Acid Setting Mist
Brushes – Beauty Blender Sponge, Elf Ultimate Blending Brush, Elf Smokey Eye Brush set
You donāt NEED all of these products, they are just some that I like. You could even try just blush and mascara! Most days I just do blush, soap brows, mascara and eyeliner.
I apply my blush along my cheek bone from about the middle of my eye to my temple. It helps make my face look lifted and less āchild-likeā. I do the same with contour, just a little lower than the blush. For concealer and foundation, I apply foundation all over but avoid my under eyes because it looks a bit patchy if I put concealer on top of my foundation. I also apply concealer under the inner corner of my eye and the outer corner and blend up. Avoid doing the concealer ātriangleā under your eye because itāll brag your features down.
I suggest YouTube videos for round/oval faces, beginner tutorials, 5 minute makeup tutorials and ānaturalā makeup tutorials. Going from little/no makeup to a full face can feel like a shock, just have fun with it!
