Hi MUA! I am an early career MUA based in New York City and am primarily self-taught. I’m really interested in getting MUA certification so that I can compete professionally, but also to cover my bases with the skills I need to learn (or improve on). I’m mainly interested in sfx / prosthetics in addition to standard beauty makeup. Programs that cover prosthetic casting and sculpting devices from scratch are a plus! But above all, I will take all the recommendations! I have a Makeup Designory campus tour this week, but their program is very expensive. Thank you!
