Greetings everyone, I would really like to start applying makeup products every day. My question is: what can I use to replace both the primer and the foundation? Most of the time I plan to use lipgloss and lipstick, including blush on certain days depending on where I’m going or if I’m going to attend a family function for example. I also plan to use a bit of eye shadow. I would definitely recommend getting advice from anyone. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I do my eyes fully, and minimal face makeup so a good moisturizer and concealer are my go-to. Sometimes depending on how my skin is acting I’ll use elf poreless putty in needed areas and a tiny bit of milk hydrogrip primer where I intend to conceal. Cream blush, no powder, no contouring or highlighting. I have freckles so usually a full beat just looks….off. sorry for the ramble I hope this helped lol
If you have redness or sunspots to cover you could use a tinted moisturizer. If you have smaller areas or more discoloration you could just dab on a little concealer.
I’d recommend starting with browns for your first eyeshadows. Elf makes some good powder shadows and brushes, and Maybelline makes good cream shadows, you might like to try both.
My daily routine is mostly powder based products so it feels light on the skin.
i wear proper skincare that would surely control my oils as well as keep my skin well hydrated:
– low ph non stripping cleanser
– hada labo shirojyun lotion (rich)
– illiyoon ceramide ato cream
– biore perfect protect milk spf50 (mattifying sunscreen)
my sunscreen sorta works like a primer. my skincare routine is already perfect that i don’t need a primer.
I’d use a little concealer under my eyes, use light coverage powder (maybelline fit me pressed powder) to the whole face with a kabuki brush. or powder foundation. doesn’t matter as long as it’s a powder.
then I’d apply bronzer (physicians formula butter bronzer), blush (wet n wild color icon blush in mellow wine), i use the blush as my eyeshadow, apply mascara then lipstick.
and my friends thought i used liquid foundation 😂
Definitely try a tinted moisturizer! Even better if you can use one with SPF 🙂 i use the cc cream by it cosmetics which i love and has spf but is probably too full coverage for what you’re looking for
