Absolutely! I call those days spa days. I’m too poor to go to an actual spa so I make my own at home.
Absolutely! When I am depressed, even if I don’t leave the house, putting on makeup makes me feel like I accomplished something and makes me feel better.
100% yes, it makes me feel more put together and more like myself, and it usually boosts my mood at least a little bit
Yes. I redo my makeup at least 3 times a day and switch clothes along with it when I’m having a bad day. It’s Ike a restart until things improve.

I call it my mental health day. If I feel crappy inside, I can psych my brain into feeling okay by putting effort into my appearance.
Yes! A sheet mask and concealer under the eyes can completely change the direction of my day
Definitely, I’d been having major back issues and barely cleansed my face daily. Could barely shampoo my hair so I purchased a wig. That definitely made me feel better, but once I was able to actually put makeup on I felt like a new person. Might not see anyone all day, but we like to look decent for our own self esteem
