🔎 REVIEW:
🔸️Patchiness: no patchiness
🔸️Blendability: had a REALLY difficult time blending the matte shadows
🔸️Fallout: slight fallout w/ some shades; the most being from ‘Mystic Ice’
🔸️Shade Variance: there is a nice range of light, midtone, & deep shades. There are not any traditional neutral ‘transition’ shades, however this palette would suffice for a range of skintones.
🔸️Formula: Although highly pigmented, this formula refuses to blend. The mattes didn’t budge as soon as I laid the colors down, & I spent wayyyy too long trying to achieve somewhat of a seamless look (but couldn’t). The foils are nice, & THEY blend nicely. However, this palette is mostly contrived of unblendable mattes. The toppers were my favorite formula, & can be possibly misconstrued as ‘glitters’, but they do have a base pigment & apply evenly. There are no dud shades in this palette.
🔸️Packaging: I love the luxury weight, but the actual style of the Palette doesn’t really speak to me
🔸️Recommendation: Ugh, I WANT to love this SO much more than I do. The color story calls to me. I just absolutely adore the uniqueness. However, I just can’t get along with the matte formulation. It’s really bad. I’ve never had this much trouble blending before. With that being said, unless you are a total sucker for the color story like I am – I would not recommend spending $44 on this. However, I’m going to keep this in my collection a little longer because I DO enjoy the toppers & foils.
