π Review: I don’t always have a hard time creating looks, but this palette gave me trouble. When I look at the mattes, I only see ‘purple & pink’ hues, and all the other ‘fun’ colors are shimmers. It’s hard to do a base look with such light colors, and then pull in dark shimmers.
Another gripe, is that when I go to use the colors as gradient blending shades – the colors are pulling the EXACT same shade. There’s no variance nor depth in the selection provided.
On a positive note, some of the ‘oddball’ colors gave me beautiful, pigmented swatches that were stunning… but they just don’t mesh well with the palette’s vibe. I don’t forsee myself keeping this in my collection as it just causes me stress trying to use it.
