I love my dual-use foundation but have a hard time knocking down the entire base, especially in the concealer department. I use pie shaped tape and it just puffs up over my foundation and makes it look like 💩. I mainly use it under my eyes and around my nose. For the rest, I’m mostly happy with the NYX Moisturizing Primer, NYX Pore Filler, NYX Matte Fixing Spray (I love NYX obv) and Coty Fixing Powder, but I feel like it does. might look better … so what products do you guys use that goes well with this foundation? Money isn’t much of a problem I just want great products that work well together and look great. I am oily, a little acne prone, with moderate pores if that matters. I’m also curious how you apply it, do you use a brush or a sponge?
Following because I love my double wear foundation and also would love to know what works well. I personally started with a brush but have been using a blender sponge and I think overall I really like it. What do you use for application?
With tarte shape tape I find that less is more otherwise it looks cakey. What I usually do is swipe the applicator on the back of my hand and then use my ring finger to dab a tiny amount underneath my eyes and smooth it out with my finger. It’s a great concealer, the only one I’ve found that covers my dark circles, but it takes some practice bc it’s not very forgiving lol
If that doesn’t help it might be worth it to look into the ELDW concealer! They make their products so that they go well together with the foundation
Funnily enough I’m actually going to try ELDW for the first time tomorrow. A lot of reviews I’ve seen say that applying with a sponge works best, and start with a very small amount so that you can build it up if you want more coverage
