👉 Joah Beauty ‘Truly Yours’ Natural Finish Foundation Drop
First-Impression Review: Sadly, this foundation is wayyy too light for me, but luckily I have some foundation darkening drops as a mix-in. I really wanted to try out this foundation, as I’m always impressed with Joah’s complexion products. Normally, my skin takes well to this type of foundation consistency (drops), & this foundation was no exception. It applied beautifully, blended without any trouble, & created a clean, blank canvas for the rest of my makeup. It gave me just about a medium-coverage level, with a natural finish. I could still see some imperfections through the makeup, but it made it look more skin-like, & more natural. I didn’t notice any type of scent, & like most products of this sort – the dropper was quite annoying to use.
➡️ Shade: Natural Ivory
💰 Price: $4.50 (Joah Beauty)

👉 Marc Jacobs ‘Accomplice’ Concealer
First-Impression Review: I have quite the crepe-y undereye, & it’s only going to worsen with age. I’m not looking to hide my age – just feel a more confident version of myself. For a stick-type concealer, this is simply amazing. You essentially apply it directly to the area where you desire more coverage, & lightly blend the edges with a brush. I applied this, & had it blended in about a minute-flat. It was SUPER easy, & gave me the nicest looking undereye. I usually don’t expect much from stick concealers, but I can see myself using this product over-and-over again. It’s definitely full-coverage (which I prefer) to cover my dark circles.
➡️ Shade: Medium 30
💰 Price: $16.00 (SALE – Sephora)

👉 Real Techniques ‘Miracle Powder’ Sponge
First-Impression Review: Not typically into the ‘baking’ technique, I thought I’d play around with the idea & see what kind of results I got. In fact, I have strayed away from all beauty sponges over the past few months. This was my first time using a sponge ‘dedicated’ to powder usage. It has that ‘microfiber’ feeling to it, & the instructions say you can use it either wet or dry. I chose dry. I paired this sponge with my Airspun powder, & stamped a heavy layer underneath my eye. The sponge picks up a LOT of powder. It also places the powder neatly, & in a relatively thin layer. I used the pointed side under the eyes, & the flat side to set my entire face. After using this method of applying powder, I noticed an extreme difference in my undereye area. There were NO lines or patchiness – just smooth, bright skin. After these great results, I will DEFINITELY be using this sponge again!
💰 Price: $5.99 (Ulta)

👉 Winky Lux ‘Coffee’ Bronzer
First-Impression Review: Give me anything that smells like coffee! I love lightly-scented makeup products that have kind of a ‘fun’s fragrance to them. This bronzer comes in beautiful, substantial packaging. It is a matte formula. The color is spot-on what I look for in a bronzer – something more cool-toned, but you can pick up a little tiny bit of warmth in it. My favorite part was the application. It applies evenly (not patchy), & it’s a TOTALLY buildable formula. There’s no over-application scare with this product! You can do a light layer, or you can really build it up to its full potential.
➡️ Shade: Mocha
💰 Price: $20.00 (Ulta)

👉 Artist Couture ‘Caliente’ Eyeshadow Palette
First-Impression Review: First time trying the Artist Couture eyeshadow formula, & what a successful venture it was. It was an absolute pleasure using almost every shade in this palette. During the swatches, I was a little worried about patchiness, but as I applied them to my eyes – there were 0 issues. I tried all of the formulas, & I even tested out gradient blending to see how well they build & blend. These shadows are stellar, & make me want to try more from the brand. I’m going to do a more thorough review on this palette in the future, & I can’t wait!
➡️ Shade: Random Mix
💰 Price: $30.00 (Sephora)

👉 Juvia’s Place ‘Velvety Matte’ Lipstick
First-Impression Review: Lip products are some of my favorite things to review, because they are so easy. You know immediately if something feels ‘good’ or ‘bad’ on your lips. I was intrigued by the term ‘velvet’ in the title, so I had to try this! I LOVE the bullet shape – it was probably the easiest time I’ve ever spent applying a bullet lipstick sans lip liner. The harsh geometric design made precision application a breeze! It smells like vanilla cupcakes. It’s very soft & smooth-feeling. Although, technically a ‘matte’ formula, it ‘feels’ more like the comfort-level of a satin cream lipstick. I would DEFINITELY buy more shades in this formula. This particular shade (chic) slightly enhanced the yellow tones in my teeth.
➡️ Shade: Chic
💰 Price: $14.00 (Ulta)
