So I’m pretty pale. Standing next to some of the partners I’ve had, I have a distinct yellow tint in comparison. Despite this, I have blue veins and every time I use yellow foundation I seem to have jaundice. But when I use a cooler, I look like Edward Cullen. Am I neutral? Sorry for the bad photos. I know that will not be perfectly correct. One is in the sun and the other is not. And what overall shade would you guess for me too? Tnx fam. https://imgur.com/gallery/7X0tdTy
You’re like me, and you’re a super pale olive. It’s an absolute b*tch to shade match. A lot of people think olive only happens with medium to dark skin tones, so olive undertones are usually in that shade range. Olive skin tones are usually considered neutral.
I’m currently using NYX born to glow foundation in the shade vanilla. It’s a pale shade with neutral yellow undertones, as opposed to warm yellow. It is a tad bit too yellow for me, but it’s close enough without me paying a fortune for my foundation.
Check out r/olivemua for some good suggestions.
What are some of your foundation matches? I found out a few months ago that I actually have a fair olive complexion. I look more yellow, but warm foundations are often too golden on me.
I see more blue undertones
Hey! What colored clothing tends to look the best on you? Do you look good in saturated oranges and yellows? Pure cool tones? Something in between?
