I always tell people Skincare before makeup is a mast – Oily skin prep before makeup is a demand
And I do skincare twice a day
1 before I apply makeup which is for oily skin
2 the night-time when I am removing makeup and my usual skincare products.
U can buy whatever products u want on makeup but if u don’t do skincare u won’t make it.
Wet n Wild Photo Focus, the original matte one, is great for oily skin. I have dry skin, and I tried it, and it dried me out to the point that I was flaky in a couple hours. (I didn’t know much about different products for dry/oily skin at the time.) So it would work GREAT on oily skin.
For foundation, I would look into NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop, Pacifica Alight, or Wet n Wild Photo Focus Matte. Mixing cornstarch with your loose powder can make it more mattifying—I wouldn’t necessarily recommend using it alone because it does have a white cast.
Also, do look into your skincare, especially your cleanser. Excessive oiliness may be caused by skincare ingredients that overly strip your skin of its natural oils, leading to oil overproduction.
I used Catrice liquid camouflage foundation and Kiko loose setting powder.
Underneath I have an oil control moisturiser.
If you zoom in you can see how shiny my upper lip amd eyebrows arez
