This is my first time doing graphic liner in a while, so itâs not the best or most creative shape in the world, but I had a lot of fun!
My photos are taken with an Olympus PEN EPL8 and a 60mm macro lens. Any areas out of focus are from the lens, not a smoothing tool.
Products:
– Becca liquid shadow in the shade âduskâ
– Maybelline eyestudio eyeliner in a pot – black
– Wet n Wild black eyeliner pencil
– Huda Beauty Legit Lashes mascara
– Undone Beauty concealer in âcream lightâ
– Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter in shade 2
– ABH brow powder in âash brownâ
Can I just say – obviously the liner is incredible, but I’m also loving how that shade of yellow compliments your eye color and skin tone. Just gorgeous.
This is stunning! It’s so popular right now — and for the last few years, I think — to aim for super sharp, angular, lifted makeup application particularly around the eyes. We see this with trends like “the fox eye” (which has conflicted racial implications that have been discussed online prior). What I love about this eye look is that it goes in the opposite direction, working with curve to create a different effect. It’s also a great way to demonstrate that eye looks can be bold and impactful while playing with novel shapes. Really cool! I’d love to see what something like that looks like from a distance, even 3-5 feet. Might have to try something similar out to see how it translates. What brushes did you use for the eye look?
When I saw this, I was like âomg, I have to go get whatever eyeliner that is!â Turns out I already have it and am definitely going to use it during my next makeup look.
