Hi everyone, first post on this sub, but I see a lot of really cool and interesting looks so I think you might be able to help me out. I’m looking for a dark / vampy lipstick that will look good under a mask – it’s my birthday this week and wanted to treat myself. My current one is the Sephora Cream Lipstain in 99 (Purple Red) – but I think the formula is gone + it doesn’t apply very easily (I agree with temptalia’s review where she points out that it doesn’t apply very easily. does not apply very well). Plus, I realized that it didn’t quite match my aesthetic – the rest of my facial makeup tends to be minimal (with the exception of blush), and my eye makeup tends to be a dull style. looser application (I use the color but it’s more “Euphoria-style” rather than a super precise cut crease). So I’m looking for a product that best matches my aesthetic in terms of its appearance – so “vampy / goth but sweet”? I don’t know how to describe it exactly, just that there is a shock between the lips and the rest of my face when I wear this lipstick (not in a good way) – and the formula of the Cream Lipstain (for this nuance) doesn’t – doesn’t lend itself well to a more transparent and constructed look. After much research, I narrowed it down to the following options. I’m not in the US, but Sephora is available in my country, so I don’t have access to the full product line. Some drugstore brands (Maybelline, L’Oréal, Milani) are here but they don’t have the full range either. The options are: Mac Powder Kiss liquid lipstick (the most expensive on my list, it’s also the highest I can go in terms of price 😕) – got a booster – have sex with the device photo Sephora collection rouge satin – crush (no. 23) – Bewitch me (n ° 24) Sephora collection red mat – The way I am (n ° 10) – Rebel chic (n ° 11) Make Up For Ever (je ne not know if it’s in stock at my local Sephora) – m501 matte plum purple – C505 My skin tone is NC35 with yellow undertones – this is what the Sephora Cream Lip tint looks like on my lips: https: // imgur. com / a / xyWZ7rG I would love to hear other people’s opinions on these formulas / products, as well as any others that I may have overlooked (there are Korean and Japanese brands where I live) that might respond to my needs! Thanks in advance and sorry for the very long post! >.
