So, as the title suggests: I’m on the hunt for a new foundation. My skin is currently relatively dry. The problem areas being my eyebrows / eyelids / under the eyes / around the mouth. My skin is also very sensitive. I am currently using 0.03% adapalene gel for my hormonal cystic acne treatment. My routine is very, very simple. I don’t have sunscreen in my routine because I don’t know what to use for my specific skin concerns. I hardly ever wear foundation. However, I have engagement photos taken this week and I would really like to define something in terms of routine before then. I have tried a lot of different foundations. I also wear glasses and I hate it when I put on foundation because my glasses ALWAYS slip off. I have currently used and had used (when needed) the Tarte Dual Purpose Beauty Primer and Foundation. I don’t really care. Do I need something less smooth? But also not dull or drying out because of my dry skin, lol. It seems way too complicated for a decent makeup routine. Anyway, if you’ve made it this far … thank you for reading my speech and I hope it made sense. Looking forward to some helpful recommendations / tips. I will add a link with some pictures of my current skin situation ~ π https://imgur.com/a/kZIWBRE
Have you tried Mac Face & Body or Clinique Even Better foundations? I donβt see much to cover in the pics and you can just use a few drops where you need them. Iβm sure your pictures will turn out beautifully!
