For those with elven eyeshadows, do they last on your eyes? If so, how do you do it? I have 4 bite size quads (Carnival Candy, Hot Jalapeno, Rosewater, and Acai You). In the past, I usually used them for short weekend runs, but I have started using them as office makeup in the last few weeks. I “ mostly ” like their performance at first, but noticed that they wrinkled and / or faded around the 3 o’clock mark, which is not acceptable if they have to be my makeup “ full day ”. I regularly use a primer (Etude House / ABH). Thank you for your help! Edit: I have hooded eyes but I have no problem using the two mentioned primers with my other shadows (Colourpop, Inglot, PML, Milani, Natasha Denona and Juvias Place).
I use the Inglot shadow keeper and the Milani primer and the ELF bitesize shadows see to stay put for much more that 3 hours. I mostly stay inside and cannot do physical work at the moment so that probably helps. Also my skin is very dry as well.
I have super oily lids that pretty much dissolve product.
Milani eye primer changed that! I don’t wear makeup without it anymore because it also keeps my mascara and eyeliner from smudging.
Are you using a lid primer? If so, is it tacky? Both of those factors would increase the wear, but I also find the bite sized don’t last super long.
I have slightly hooded eyes and I use the elf putty eye primer. Personally I don’t like a tacky primer and prefer a primer that smoothes my eye. I have a few of the bite sized palettes and I’ve never noticed them perform any worse than my other drugstore eyeshadows.
