I’m starting a new internship this Monday and it’s a typical office job. So for those of you who work in business, how much makeup is allowed? Because normally I like to do a lot of makeup. Nothing crazy or distracting. Usually just foundation, blush, concealer, eyebrows, berry lipstick, mascara, and lashes, along with a bit of brown ombre eyeshadow and possibly a subtle sheen. Everything is neutral. I describe my makeup as being natural glam. I really don’t want to reduce a lot of the makeup, but I also don’t want to look like I’m trying too hard. It seems that so many women in my part of the country don’t wear makeup at all. But I love makeup and I love to wear it everyday. So what do you think is appropriate? Does my current routine look good to you?
Also wearing à full face (no false lashes only mascara) and never had any problem. Neutral is always a good idea 🙂

I think something in neutral colors is beautiful and totally appropriate for work, even in a very conservative office environment. What you described sound perfect.

What you describe sounds reasonable enough for the office, I wouldn’t wear the lashes personally because most tend to look “too much” but, as I said, that’s just a personal opinion
Me personally, no false lashes and would tone down the lipstick to a more neutral mlbb until you see what other people are wearing
