How to cover redness on the cheeks without looking mushy? I use a little pie-shaped concealer on it to make it look less red but it ends up showing up anyway

Honestly I didn’t think it was redness until I read the title! It looks like a beautiful blush. If you’re still set on covering it, I wouldn’t even cover it a lot. Having it still come through a little will look more natural if that’s what you’re going for. Maybe just a medium coverage foundation to minimize cakiness, or a light concealer.
You could try one of those green concealers under your foundation to combat the red.
Honestly though I think it’s cute! It looks like to me you just have natural blush!
You probably don’t want to hear this, but I love the red cheeks. 🥰
Dermablend pressed powders are no joke. They cover up very red acne marks and rosacea. I’d give them a try. They also make a liquid full coverage foundation but it is so, SO heavy that idk if I’d recommend it.
For what it’s worth, I think your redness is super cute!! I have redness on my cheeks too and I personally swear by Dr Jart’s Cicapair cream (the one in the jar). It won’t completely cancel it out but it tones it down quite a lot, and I like it a lot more than all the colour correcting concealers I’ve tried.
I like the redness honestly
I think it’s pretty
It may sound counterintuitive, but putting on some blush will actually make it look more even and intentional, like a healthy flush. I have a lot of redness myself and really avoided blush like the plague for years, but I came across the tip, tried it, and it really works for me.
What kind of skin do you have (dry/oily/etc) and what foundation/primer do you use?
I agree with everyone, I didn’t read the title at first and I thought it was a cute blush! It looks nice with your lip color 🙂 I understand wanting to cover redness because sometimes it doesn’t work with a look, but honestly I often find that having full coverage foundation to the point that your whole face is the same color looks really unnatural, especially IRL.
I used Nyx color correcting primer in green and it works really well, it doesn’t get rid of everything but it does make a noticeable difference.
My friend swears by turmeric face cream she applies to her cheeks. You should check some out 🙂

Awe, but your cheek color is so cute and flattering! Honestly it looks 100% intentional to me and keeps you from looking washed out in work lighting anyway!
If you decide not to cover it all the way then blend your under eye concealer a bit to make the color difference match a bit more.
If you decide to cover then either use a green color corrector or mix a bit in with your foundation on the back of your hand before you apply it.
I know this isn’t the answer you asked for but personally I love it!! I always wear pink blush even when I’m going for a natural look so I’m super jealous that you have it naturally! The grass is always greener I suppose…
You look like one of those beautiful paintings with that natural blush going on. I’d say flaunt it, it’s amazing and cute
Ngl the redness on your cheeks is so cute! ☺
I think you look great! One product I like for redness though is Alima Pure Color Correcting powder in pistachio. It’s loose mineral makeup which isn’t for everyone, but even on my obnoxiously reactive skin it wears well with no irritation.
I think you look so pretty with it
I thought it was a cute blush! I would kill for naturally flushed cheeks like that!
I use this little stick by Maybelline it’s called a color corrector. It’s a little stick where you press the bottom and tiny bits of green concealer come out. You put a TINY dot of green at a time, blending it and pushing it into the skin very well. It’s literally $6 and works perfectly for my super red T-zone
I personally have this problem too, and I usually use the makeup forever redness correcting primer, and instead of a full coverage concealer, I use more of a medium coverage foundation. I have also noticed that my cheeks are doing better since I have introduced retinol and niacinamides in my skin care routine, but I’ m not really sure it’s from that. One of my friends recommended me the Clinique redness solution but I ve never tried it.
I also have a hack where I try and build my blush around the redness so it looks more like I have done it on purpose for my makeup look.
I use something called cicapair derma green solution (tiger grass color correcting treatment) by dr. Jart+ . This stuff is strangely amazing. Looks green, but when you rub it into your face, it turns beige. I use it to cover a red birthmark (more like a red splotch on my face). Not greasy, but moisturizing.
Don’t cover up! It’s cute!! Though of course you are fully entitled to and I unfortunately don’t know how to cover it up but I adore it!
i thought it was cute blush!!!! don’t cover it🥺 but if you really want try dr. jart cicapair and green concealer
You are extremely blessed. Your cheeks are beautiful! So jealous
it’s very lovely, don’t cover it.
Soooo I honestly get super red in my cheeks and started using the Glow Recipe Avocado Ceramide Recovery Serum. I still have my normal flush, so I skip blush frequently, but I no longer look inflamed and I don’t have to cake on foundation. If you can, I recommend trying it! It IS a little pricy but it was 100% worth it IMO
Lol I like the look actually but maybe a green tinted primer?
L’Oréal-magic skin Beautifier…. It’s green.

-You can wear it alone, or use it as a primer. And it’s cheap:)
For the record tho… you don’t need it. You just got natural rouge lol…. If anything I would recommend treating the redness, calming serum or moisturizer.
I had really bad eczema on my chin and cheeks (hormones) that’s how I discovered the green makeup. But I treated the redness and now it’s gone
I have pretty blotchy red cheeks. I’ve learned the best tip is to hide in plain sight. Find blush that’s the same color and just add the blush in places to make it look more sculpted and purposeful.
I find medium-heavy coverage foundations makes it more noticeable and that light coverage helps it hide in plain sight.
I know a lot of people have recommended a green concealer, but yellow will do a much better job covering/correcting without losing too much of your natural skin tone.
A yellow toned concealer or foundation blended well over the area and a blush follow up would look great.
