I spray the paddles with 70% isopropyl alcohol every month. Some are cream blushes and highlighters, but others are pressed powder eyeshadows. I worry if I leave them on too long, they will just pick up dust and bacteria on top. So how long should I let them dry? 2-3 days? PS Does anyone know if this sanitary method will damage the product? Like the formulation, causing irritation or the overall application and shelf life?
I think you just have to leave them out until the alcohol evaporates. Not 2-3 days. More like a few minutes or so

You can cover the pallets with a clean, smooth weave towel, like a flour sack towel or a paper towel. You can also close the lid of the pallet so it covers the product without actually fastening it. Honestly, even if you DO close the lid all the way, pallet cases are rarely if ever airtight so the alcohol will still evaporate.
90% alcohol is actually better. Itβs a higher concentration of alcohol, so itβs a stronger disinfectant and it evaporates more rapidly.
