I have double lids and I find a good dedicated eyeprimer is a must. You can also experiment with setting it with an eyeshadow in your skin tone. I find setting it can make a huge difference in preventing or minimizing transfer. I put my skin colored eye shadow all over my lid and up to my eyebrow area no matter what look or colors I’m doing.
I also try to keep the most concentrated colors of shadows very low, esp when doing colorful or super dark smokey looks, and blending outward instead of upward.
