My skin is still very red under my mouth and around my nose and eyes. It’s not acne or dry skin so I think it’s just the way my face is pigmented. I still feel the urge to fix those spots with a tiny bit of BB cream – literally the size of a pea a day. But everyone seems to preach how bad it is to put on makeup every day. Can I keep doing what I’m doing or is there another way to calm those red spots?
Wearing makeup everyday is absolutely fine as long as youâre cleansing and removing it at the end of the day đ
Try dr. Jart cicapair products. I have the same issue and these products are magical.
If youâre worried about clogging your pores, youâre totally good and I wouldnât worry at all. But if you want to color correct, Iâd recommend Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass color correcting treatment. I have rosacea and it helps me a lot on days I donât want to put on a full face. Plus it has SPF so I donât have to put on sunscreen as well as concealer. Donât feel like you need to cover up, though! Just do what makes you comfortable.

You are totally fine to wear that every day!
I’ve been wearing makeup everyday for the last 15 years, the only time I stopped was when I went to fix my skin at a medi spa. I’ve cleared my hyperpigmentation with IPL and blue light treatments and also fraxel laser. I would have done that sooner but it’s expensive.
