It finally delivered today and love it, but on the Shadow Social Club it says don’t use it around the eye area? It’s a different texture than other shades, so what would I use this pan for? And also what is the lifespan of these 12m or 24m pallets? Thank you 🙂
Looks like social club is a pressed glitter, which means it’s not eye safe because it could scratch your cornea or get stuck in your eye. Colourpop continues to put these in palettes even though they’ve received lots of feedback telling them not to.
If something is unsafe for the eye area, it’s usually considered a “pressed pigment”. Usually it means they stain more heavily than eyeshadows do. You can technically still use them as eyeshadows, but legally they have to have this disclaimer on the packaging.
