I bought the Elf 18 Hit Wonders Palette on a whim as I found one on clearance for $ 5. Unfortunately, you really have to wrap it up and the mix isn’t good at all. Any recommendations for a highly pigmented, mixable and vibrant palette? I am in the price range of $ 50 or less.
I really like Makeup Revolution pallets. Occasionally you get a color that doesn’t show well but mostly they are vibrant and blendable as well as affordable
Have you tried using a damp brush with your elf palette?
The palettes by Beautybay are surprisingly good for the price, highly pigmented, stay on all day (I use eye primer) and budget wise really worth the money. However I have only matte ones (except for a limited edition collab with MMMMitchell).
Middle range price, the Meet Matte palettes are great, less colorful but the quality of the shadows is amazing. They are all matte though.
Higher end, I really like the ABH ones (all of them) but they can be a little tricky to use because of fallout. It is not a problem for me but some people really don’t like that. They have both matte and shimmer shadows.
For shimmery ones, I really enjoy BH cosmetics baked shadows, again great price for the quality.
I’m a really big fan of Morphe palettes. The James Charles one is my favorite because there are a lot of colors, the blending is great, and there isnt much fall out. Those are in about the $35 range. If you’re not so sure about color, I would try out Revolution Pro first. Their palettes are cheaper and the colors are very good without having to invest in such a large palette as morphe.
