Hi. I tried MAC’s Paint Pot in Groundwork and liked it, so I’m thinking of trying another color. I like neutral colors dark enough to show up on my light to medium skin tone. I’m thinking of Tailor Gray, but I don’t want something REALLY gray – more like a light brown / warm taupe. So that might sound like a silly question given the name, but is MAC’s Tailor Gray paint bucket very gray? TIA.

The Revlon cream eyeshadow (in a pot) in the shade Chocolate is a cooler, darker version of Groundwork and an *excellent* formula for less than half the price. If youβre open to a different brand, I highly recommend it! I own both Groundwork and Chocolate and use Chocolate far more often.
Hey girl! I’ve tried it and I’m about an NC30 in mac stfix fluid. It’s definitely not as brown as groundwork is, it’s a bit more of a taupey shade that pulls grey. It’s not very grey though and the brown undertones in it are apparent. It’s a really unique shade though, you could always put groundwork on underneath and then a bit of tailor grey if you end up finding it pulls too much on you π
