My DIY Freestyle Palette (Contains 90 Standard Eyeshadows) More info on the cost breakdown below. Credit to YouTuber Candice Victoria. She posted a tutorial for her Magnetic Eyeshadow Palette of 154 eyeshadows. Used his tutorial to make mine. Thank you for watching!
This was a labor intensive project!!! Took me a good 3-4 hours to complete. The most pain in the π part was the damn contact paper!!! I HAD ALL THESE MATERIALS (except for the loctite adhesive) for almost a year. Things happened and couldn’t get around to it earlier. But thanks for Corona, I had the time.
The most important find was the book. I bought 15 of them at dollar π³. The second most important material is the large adhesive magnet. This 30 mil one is the most flexible yet powerful enough to hold any cosmetic pan. I literally took one pan, placed it on the sheet and flapped my arms as if I was trying to fan my self and my pan stayed put. A thing to keep in mind, one you place your large magnetic sheet on the area, its adhered tight. You cannot move it if you made a mistake. So, I had to place it very carefully. Loctite adhesive is extremely important to set your borders and mini magnets. I say loctite because the borders are made of cardboard covered with contact paper and loctite can be used on paper and plastic!!! Because I plan to make more of these palettes, the cost per palette will be less and less. Again 100% credit to Candice Victoria!!!

Cool. You can probably make these and sell them on Etsy . I waited a long time to buy a magnetic palette because I just didn’t like the ones I was seeing and a lot of companies don’t sell them for some reason
Where do you find eyeshadow pans like that, that you are able to put in a case? This is a really cool idea!
Itβs all fun and games until you drop it π’all your eyeshadow gone in a blink
Omg yes! I saw her tutorial and attempted it myself. I already failed at the contact paper part LOOL
