This is the best smoky look I have ever done. Finally, at 43, I did something that wasn’t a complete disaster. Now how the hell can you make each side look the same? This also goes for trying to get decent eyebrows.

Best thing I ever heard about eyebrows was the day my fabulous nail guy told me “honey they are sisters, not twins!” So as long as you’re getting them even as far as how much product you use on them and where you put it you don’t have to stress yourself out about getting them perfectly matched. IMO.
Also putting setting powder on a sponge and using it to kind of create a line at the edge of your outer eye where you’re going to smoke it out helps keep things even looking on the edge. There are a bunch of good YouTube videos about how to do that, that’s where I learned it (at 40😂) and it has really helped me. Also…Amazon sells little sticky eyeshadow shields that you can line up to get it perfect on the edge of the eye. If you’re going for that fox eye smoky.
Also putting a kind of gradient into a smoky eye by starting with a matte lighter color like brown or gray in the crease then building it up darker is good and helps with bringing out the shimmer shade. You look great though, you did a good job with this!
