Hello! It’s a strange question, but does anyone find that her natural blush interferes with her makeup? I can have a really nice natural look, but as soon as I blush my makeup looks like I added too much blush! For a bit of background I’d say I’m a medium / light tone (# 105 in Il Makiage shades) and generally prefer peach blush, but when I blush my cheeks just look so pink and i feel like a clown lol it totally comes through the peach blush. Any advice on how to cover it? My foundation is a light blanket, maybe that’s why ?? I really don’t like to use a lot of makeup … but I do enjoy the earthy toned natural look. TIA
Are you using powder blushes? I find that cream or liquid blushes are sometimes a bit more forgiving because you can easily sheer/blend them out. If you apply too much or feel the colour has become too intense, it’s very easy to use the sponge/brush that you applied your foundation with to tone down the colour since the left over product on the brush/sponge will obviously add a bit of coverage over the product.
You can also use a colour corrector solely on your cheek area too! Like a colour correcting primer or concealer before you apply your foundation. I would recommend using a green toned concealer or primer to cancel out the red/pink hues caused by your cheeks.

I don’t wear a lot of face makeup outside of being on my eyes, so I can’t say much to your foundation being a culprit. But have you tried using a light bronzer instead of blush? Just a thought
I get you. I’m flushed all the time, specially when I go out partying (I may have some rosacea, who knows?). I never wear blush because I know that it won’t look how I think it looks when I apply it
You could try changing the color of the blush, or the intensity. Also, you could start with a light hand and wait a bit (one hour?) to see how it looks and decide if you apply more. You could also: a) use heavier foundation or b) do some colour correction. There are primers designed to counteract any redness (they are green usually) or you could use some green concealer before your foundation 🙂 that way you are neutralizing the underlying redness and you will only be blushed because of your blush
Edit- to add: try doing your makeup under different lights and shading, before applying more blush so you can decide. Sometimes indoor lighting is a liar!
