🔎 REVIEW:
🔸️Patchiness: no patchiness
🔸️Blendability: very easy to blend
🔸️Fallout: experienced lots of fallout, the most being from matte shade ‘Love That’
🔸️Shade Variance: there is a nice range of light, midtone, & deep shades. There are plenty of traditional ‘neutral transition shades’ for a range of skintones.
🔸️Formula: the mattes were a pleasure to work with. There is a real pigment intensity difference between the ‘pressed pigments’ & the ‘eyeshadows’, but both were equally as easy to blend out. The shimmers worked more like ‘toppers’, where they really lacked a base pigment & served no real purpose in this palette. They look pretty in the pan, but don’t have any depth. The metallics were my favorite. They were SO rich that they could pass as foils. You don’t need to wet the shadow or use glitter adhesive to get the most out of them – they are stunning to use as is. As I always do, I pick apart the matte black that comes in any palette. This particular one, I would consider to be ‘average’. It was deep enough, but didn’t impress me as much as some others that I’ve come across. There were no duds in this palette.
🔸️Packaging: there’s nothing wrong with this packaging.
🔸️Recommendation: I love a good rainbow palette, & this one did not disappoint. There are endless color combinations waiting to be created. The price per shade is extremely affordable, & the palette itself is easy to store. I am keeping this in my collection, & would recommend it on account that you aren’t intending on using it solely for the shimmer formula.
