You look so cute! I have the same issue with falsies as I feel they’re dramatic on my hooded/smallish eyes, but they look really good on you!! Not too much at all. For eyeliner, something that helps with my hooded eyes is using an angled brush with a pencil or potted eyeliner, as it’s much easier to control than a liquid eyeliner (if that’s something you’re open to try!)
For foundation matching, sometimes if I have a spare moment (or half hour) I try a foundation on half of my face and leave the other half bare, let it sit for about 10 minutes for it to potentially oxidize, and then look at my face and neck in natural light to see if it matches. It’s hard to find a perfect match for anyone, but if you’re worried about looking off, a lighter layer should do just fine!
I also think doing/defining your eyebrows maybe with a pencil a little more would look so great on you! I love the Elf Instant Lift Brow pencil 🙂
Other than that, everything seems great and that lip color is so nice on you <3
Loving the lip color! Your eyeliner looks great behind your glasses, but you might find you like a different technique for days when you don’t wear your glasses–perhaps not extending it out so far or not putting a dark color in your waterline. Dark waterlines can help your eyes stand out behind glasses, but I feel they can make your eyes look smaller without glasses. Just depends on your preferences, though, and how you feel most confident!
I noticed that u/maengostickyrice mentioned the elf Instant Lift brow pencil, and I second this recommendation! It’s really inexpensive, so you can get a few colors to decide which is a good match for you. I used to spend ~$20 for Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencils, but I found that the elf one in taupe for $2 works just as well for me.
The glasses look amazing on you, and I love the lip! Have you tried not lining the bottom lashes with the eyeliner? I’m pale and sticking to just the top lid comes across a little softer, which I think the lip color would fit with.

I’m still relatively new (have been doing makeup for months, but very intermittently). Haven’t fully dialed my routine down, here’s what I did for this look (let me know if anything here is particularly weird, or maybe out of order from what you might expect?):
Primer
Translucent powder
Lipstick/5Shadow Cover
Concealer for 5Shadow
Foundation
Concealer around “T zone/bottom of eyes
Translucent Powder around whole face
chapstick
tightlining
wings
brow gel
curl eyebrows
Mascara
falsies
powder on lips
Lip Primer
Lipstick (cream/bullet)
dab
reapply
dab
powder
reapply
dab
concealer around lips to clean up
setting spray
This was also my first time using falsies, I think I need some work on actually applying them correctly. At first, I thought that they were a bit too “extra”, but they’re kinda growing on me.
I also used to use the flat out Ivory foundation from Maybelline, which I found made my skin look a bit too…orange? Didn’t look necessarily bad I think, but I knew it didn’t match completely and I was worried that even with really focusing on blending on the neck it’d look out of place. I switched to Fair Ivory, much more close to my natural skin tone, but also more worried that 5 O’clock shadow is busting through a bit more. Maybe I’m just paranoid? 🤷♀️
Beautiful skin! Since you asked, how about a softer lip? Do nude outside the lines and glossy/blushy tone for bigger natural lip. And pic please if you try!
You did a great job, I love the colors and good eyeliner. And that lip color is fantastic.
Please take this all with a grain of salt, because I fine just by playing around you fine what works for you.
I think for the eyeliner you have two things you can do, get a good gel eyeliner with and an angled brush, it give you so more control and I hear is good for hooded eyes. Or get a really fine tipped liquid eyeliner, they do take more time and practice with but I love the sharp lines I can get with it. I know the lining on your lower lid wasn’t supposed to happen, I think it looks good, but i know making your eyes bigger is something a lot of people like to do. So I would look into maybe a white or cream colored eyeliner just to make your eyes pop.
You really have beautiful skin, so I dont think you need a full coverage found, you could probably with a tinted primer or BB cream. I think if you want you could add a little blush or highlighter to you look, but but only if you really want to. Im about as pail as you are and I love looking that way, so I dont use any bronzer but I hear they are fun to play with.
You did a really amazing job. And I know your skills will just grow and you have more time and practice. You will find what works best for you. I wish you the best of luck in everything.

You might try an eyeshadow for your lower lash liner and smoke it out a little bit. Only go about halfway across instead of all the way to the inside corner. It can help to open up the eyes. You have beautiful light eyes so I’d suggest some deep browns. You don’t need to use black to get a dramatic contrast. I really like the look of a slightly blended wing done with an angled brush dampened with setting spray and lightly tapped into a dark shadow. It gives you an easier time for correcting and you can dabble in really dramatic colors. You might also play with the angle of the wing, it should be in line with your bottom lash line. Your lipstick is amazing! Robert Welsh on YouTube has really great tips and tricks for working with makeup whether you’re just starting or you’ve been doing it for years!
I like your makeup! An easy way to sharpen eyeliner is to draw a sharp line under it in either concealer or with a damp paper towel if you aren’t wearing foundation/concealer.
You have hooded eyes! I also have hooded eyes and doing a cat eye is a NIGHTMARE and it always looks…off??
My suggestion is, don’t do a bold line on your top lid, maybe just tight line it. And YouTube how to do a cat eye with hooded eyes! There are also different types of winged eye looks like “fishtail” “puppy eye” etc.
But other than that, you’re kiiiilling it! If you have any questions just DM me!
You look great. We have similar features but I’m older (36) and what I do is avoid lower eye liner to open the eye but I do apply light mascara for the lower lash. I also use darker face powder instead of bronzer to add contours under my chin and near my temples. Unless you wax your lip avoid too much lip liner outside the lip on the top because for me at least my lip can sweat a bit and that gets on my mustache. Playing with colors is your best friend. Pallets are the easiest. Ask a friend if you can borrow a pallet of eyeshadow to try some stuff. Eyeshadow is the easiest product to share because it’s the least likely to be contaminated by your body chemistry (oils/bacteria). Keep playing, you’re doing great.
