Hi all! I have a question about self-tanners. I’ve tried several (Jergens, St Tropez, L’Oréal, Random Winner Brands, Shoppers brand, etc.) but I haven’t found one that I’m particularly satisfied with yet. I am pale and have pink undertones on my skin. I’m looking for something to give me natural color that lasts at least a few days. I found Jergens made me look orange and it smelled bad even after a bath. And St Tropez was ok, but for the price it wasn’t worth it for me. I have heard a lot of good things about Paradise Island. It’s expensive, but if it lasts a long time and doesn’t make me orange, I’d be willing to splurge on it. I was also considering Bondi Sands which is a bit cheaper than Isle of Paradise but since it’s a foam I’m not sure how long it will last. SO, I’m wondering: a) Have you tried Isle of Paradise and / or Bondi Sands and if so, what has your experience been like? (Color, longevity on skin, smell, etc.) b) do you have any other recommendations for pale / pink skin (ideally not super expensive) that are available in Canada? 🇨🇦😬 I’m sorry for the long post … Thanks in advance!

Bondi Sands is pretty great! I have used their one hour express tanning foam, their regular (5-6hr) dark taning foam and their dark tanning mist. They all smell great (like coconut). The foam is easy to apply and blend out so it’s not streaky.
I shower daily and the tan lasted pretty well considering – the 1hr express foam lasted about a week, the spray a little over a week and the dark foam tan almost 2 weeks (it got patchy in a few places on my pale skin by then but only noticeable pretty close up). They all only lasted a few days on my face but I do wear makeup every day so I assume the makeup remover I use washed it away quickly.
Got so many compliments on my tan whenever I wore it. it’s really nice and natural looking but still gives you a nice deep colour.
I’ve also used San Tropez but definitely preferred Bondi Sands.
Edit – to say I have olive undertones, but I have friends who put me onto it because they raved about it, and they’re pink.
