Primer: Estee Lauder: The Smoother & The Illuminator
I love using the smoother, this is the sample version for around 20 USD and I absolutely love it. Sometimes I put this primer on my face just because π Honestly you guys! This is the best primer you will ever try! I usually use the Illuminator for when I go out and I want some extra glow! It’s nice too but nothing compared to The Smoother. This is my all time favorite productπ
Okay first off, I’m sure many of you tried the Double Wear which is their classic foundation, has been for literally ages. I like using it when I go out and I want full full full coverage, for some it might be too heavy and some might not like using it with oily skin. I do like it but I don’t like it as much as the newer Waterfresh version! The Waterfresh is still full coverage, it doesn’t get cakey and it’s moisturizing. The Waterfresh comes with SPF 30, the Double Wear with SPF 10 but remember to always wear sunscreen under your make up! Estee Lauder if you are reading this: yes I would very much like to work for you πππ
Seriously though, I think Estee Lauder has amazing products that are well worth the money.
Concealer: Born This Way Multi Use Sculpting Concealer
I don’t use Concealer all the time because sometimes I feel like it brings my wrinkles out more than without. This is the best concealer that I have found so far. I’m not super crazy for it but I’ve had worse. Just make sure you don’t use loads like they do on YouTube π
I like the Wonderstick because it blends really well. It has one light and one dark side on each end. I like applying it all over my face. Sometimes this is the only contouring I use.
The Shape Shifter Palette by Urban Decay is really nice for nose contouring because it blends nicely and it actually lasts for quite some time! I watched a nose contour video once and that girl recommended it so I got it because I wanted to have the same skills as her and of course it only works if you’re using the same products ππ well I’m not even close to what she can do but I’m still happy with my purchase!
Powder: Too Faced Peach Perfect
The powder you guys!! It smells like peach! ππ I think that’s mostly why I like it so much. I don’t use it all the time but it feels really nice, it’s not heavy at all and did I mention how nice it smells?
Bronzer: Benefit Hoola
Probably everyone knows this bad boy. I also like to use it for contouring and as an eyeshadow too. Blends really nicely! My favorite Bronzer so far.
Brow Pencil: Estee Lauder The Brow Multitasker
This Brow Pencil is called the brow. And it is! It has a little brush on one side, a brow pencil on the other side and in the middle there is a little sponge like brush (??) for applying the integrated powder. I absolutely love this brow pencil. I can make my brows look really natural with it and it’s long lasting. I’m sure any brow pencil will probably do but like I said before, I’m an Estee fan and I love this product!
Eyeliner: Chanel Eyes Stylo Yeux Waterproof
The application of this eyeliner is really easy and that’s important to me because I’m not necessarily very good at it. Another aspect that was important to me and that I really like about this product is that it’s long lasting and waterproof, but really probably any eyeliner will do. But it’s chanel…and it was on sale β€οΈπ
The Younique Mascara is amazing! It’s a fiber mascara and it really adds volume and length to my lashes (and there aren’t many of them π). It technically lasts all day, but only if you really prep your under eyes. That’s the only thing I wish it wouldn’t need. Sometimes I get some serious pandas after a long shift at the hospital and I don’t like that, it definitely isn’t frontline covid proof (it smudges HARD under PPEππ) but that’s not what it’s made for and it’s perfectly fine for a regular day.
For those crazy days and for going to the beach/swimming I love using the Eyeko Beach Mascara! It is waterproof..like seriously waterproof. It’s a love/hate relationship because that stuff is haaard to get off π BUT if you’re a lazy piece of ** like me you can just sleep in it and your eyes are ready for the next dayππ washing your face in the morning is not a problem, depending on the cleanser you’re using. It does come off with oily products more easily! But I’m still thankful that I have found it, actually someone on reddit recommended it to me! So thank yooouuu!
I love that one! It’s the best Lipliner I’ve ever had! I like using a couple of layers and it lasts for a long time. It’s not going to last you all throughout the night obviously. Unless you don’t eat it drink anything. But it stays on longer than the others that I’ve tried and they have a great selection of nice colors.
Lipsticks: Estee Lauder & Dior & Chanel
I’m not going to go into detail about my favorite colors but I have loads of different lipsticks of either brand and every single one lasts for a really long time in combination with the lipliner. So far every lipstick of Estee, Dior and Chanel was/is great! I’m wearing lipstick a lot so I’ve tried pretty much almost every brand out there. I never wanted to pay 40 USD for a lipstick BUT it’s really worth it. It’s just like nail polish..the less you pay the faster it rubs off. So Estee, Dior and Chanel lipsticks of either series: Yes, Yes & Yes!!
Setting Spray: Urban Decay Setting Spray All Nighter
It’s refreshing and I think my make up does last a bit longer with it! Do you need it? No. Is it nice to have? Yes π Some people swear on it, I’ve done most of my “make up career” without
One last thing: Try the Tangleteezer hairbrush! It was a game changer for me!!! Trust me and thank me later π β€οΈβ€οΈππ
I’m not a professional make up artist but I have spend a lot of time using and testing out products. If you have any suggestions for me, please comment! I’m always happy to try new things!π
πππ
Edit: about the Eyeshadow Palette (Too Faced Natural Matte)
It smells like cinnamon which is nice but I don’t love it. It’s alright but it’s not great for the price you pay for it. I added it to complete the look. Like I mentioned earlier, most of the time I like to use my bronzer as eyeshadow. I’m still looking for the perfect palette π§
