First time in a long time !! I am 33 years old and I can see that the fine lines under my eyes are getting more and more noticeable. I recently had a concealer binge and so far have had the best luck with Makeup Forever Ultra HD Self-Fixing Concealer, followed by a small amount of translucent powder (which I’m still working on. control). Has anyone been able to find a holy grail, product or series of products to achieve great results under the eyes? What didn’t work: – Shape Tape – Tarte Creaseless under eye concealer – Adding the concealer / primer under Becca’s eyes – Adding color correctors Translucent pixi loose setting powder maybe helping? Thanks in advance for all the leads!
Ive had good luck with Natasha Denona’s Transfix Matte Concealer, but no powder. I’ve found that powder makes any creasing so much worse on me.
I’ve been using Yensa’s concealer and it doesn’t crease. I got one in a beauty box and I love it so much, I ordered from their website.
honestly, shape tape is it for me. only one that doesn’t move. i do set it too tho. is the area dry or oily? if dry, maybe try glossier stretch concealer. i do set it a bit but it is very nice and does not settle into lines. i also not put on any eye cream etc during the day but use a retinol eye cream at night which really helped my eyelids and under eyes to wear makeup better
I really like the Maybelline Fit Me concealer. I enjoyed the MUFE Ultra HD, but over time my under eye lines stood out more and more. The Maybelline has a texture that works for me: not as thin as the MUFE, but thinner than for example the NARS radiant creamy concealer. The coverage for me is better than the MUFE, so I can use less product. For me product quantity is super important; if I do the YouTuber pound of concealer all over the undereye area it makes my lines look spotlighted. When I do just a small dot on each end of my eye and blend out a la Robert Welsh, I get coverage but the lines are basically invisible.
Try hourglass hidden corrective concealer I’ve used it with and without powder on myself and on brides it is the best I’ve found. I like to set mine lightly with a mat powder. But on brides I would just touch it up or check it periodically.
