Good morning all! I declutter my makeup! I’m getting rid of old / expired products, and products that I haven’t used in years, and was wondering if you have any suggestions on what to do other than throw it away? I feel a little gross giving people used makeup and palettes because, you know, germs. What if I throw it out, do I clean it up first? Thank you!
give them to a close friend or family member if you can. i believe there are some makeup products you can safely sanitize at home like eyeshadow and blush, i’ve seen mixed reviews as to how effective that is though so do your research.
edit: idk if you’re a painter or some other kind of visual artist but i have used makeup to draw/paint with before. it is actually really pretty, you wind up with a lot of cool colors that you just can’t find in a typical painting set.
