So I have never used an eye shadow primer and usually apply a white base over my eye makeup before applying it. When I use an eyeshadow primer, do I still need a primer before I apply the eyeshadow? For example, I just moisturize, apply foundation and hide, then put a white base on my lids before applying color. Would I still need to do this?
Depends on what color your primer is. If you primer is like a creamy off white color then no. But if it’s transparent and and pigment doesn’t show up correctly or well on your skin tone then yes, if that’s the reason for putting it on in the first place 🙂
