Hi, I would suggest looking straight ahead into mirror with eyes completely open normally, and creating a new crease above the hooded area. I think the reason you can’t really tell it’s a cut crease is maybe the color you chose wasn’t pigmented enough. You are beautiful with those eyes already. But I understand just wanting the option to paint if you feel like it and doing it with payoff. Just keep practicing and it will come to you. As a makeup artist for 30 years. I can tell you that from the time you really start focusing on makeup it could take years before you really figure out even your own face and bone structure. Also, if you decide to try making a new crease above the hood. Start out with “transition first to map it out and to be able to blend other colors on top and off if it. You could also use a creamy pencil to sketch out your new crease and then use a firmer blending brush to blend out pencil. Don’t give up and I hope this helps 😉
I actually really like your look, it pairs well with you eyes. Imo you also have deepset eyes more than hooded. For this kind of shapes shimmers, bright and halos are indeed the right choice

Products used:
The palette I used included on the last slide. I used 2 depotted shadows from Thats Taupe by Colourpop and 2 shadows from the Ofra good to go mini mix palette.
I also used the NYX super skinny eyeliner pen in brown, NYX eyeliner pencil in golden (I think that’s the name), and Milk Mascara. Eye primer is the NYX wonderstick highlight side (I’m trying to use it up, it’s pretty crappy as an eye primer).
Cut creases are a great tool for hooded eyes!
The sparkles look so good! And I like how you did your eyeliner, thicker at the end and thinner on the eyelid. Gonna try that
