I have tried looking for YouTube tutorials for this, but they haven’t been very helpful to me as I don’t want to use anything other than eye shadow. I don’t have any foundation or foundation at the moment, I just have eye shadow. I don’t know how to mix it, but I was told that mixing it will make it look better. Please help.
I don’t use concealer/base products either, I don’t think they have anything to do with blending? They’re useful if you need to clean up the shape, but not for blending. Most YT tutorials I see just blend eyeshadow using brushes, I think it’s more of a matter of practice and selecting colours. You can also use nude eyeshadow shades to diffuse the edges of the pigment on your lid.
Your eyeshadow is probably going to look a bit blotchy without primer. If I absolutely had to work workout it, I would start by laying down an eyeshadow that is close to my skin color all over my lid. Keep in mind that it will change the colors you lay on top of it though.
Yeah I second using nudes shades to help with blending. Also if you’re beginning be more conscious of the shades you’re using if that makes sense. Using shades more visually closer together or even finding a shade that bridges the shades you use can help everything blend better
