I need your help, beautiful young ladies! Well and gentlemen too! I love the makeup that I have had since childhood! I have very fine lines now that I’m 45 and I need help figuring out which foundation won’t settle into my lines and pores and make me look older than I do. am! I should also add that everyone I meet thinks I’m in my thirties so I don’t look my age, but every foundation I’ve tried makes me look older than what I am! Omg any help in this area would be so amazing and make me so happy !! Tia !! 🥰🥰🥰😊
Moisturize and use hydrating foundation and avoid too much powder or avoid completely if you can. Matte foundation and setting powder settles into your lines and pores
This isn’t foundation related but have you tried dermarolling? It’s amazing for fine lines!!!
I’m 47 and my skin is pretty darn good, thanks to lucky genes. I use Murad moisturizers night & morning, and then I just use Tarte shape tape sparingly on under-eye circles and anywhere else I need brightening (corners of nose, bow above lips), a smidge of Benefit porefessional pore-filling primer on my nose, and Pur mineral powder foundation all over. That’s it. My biggest issue these days are crepey, droopy eyelids (I’ve always had hooded lids). There’s only so much I can do there. 🤷♀️

not to be a debbie downer, but: i am skeptical that such a foundation exists, cuz physics. if you have fine lines, stuff will settle in them.
i wonder: is foundation necessary for you? what purpose does it serve in your routine? cuz it can’t settle in your lines if you’re not wearing any.
I’m 42 and I grabbed the SEPHORA Collection “Best Skin Ever” foundation a couple weeks ago and I love it so much. It’s got a very natural looking finish, while still evening everything out. It doesn’t seem to be as noticable with my lines, either.
I have heard a lot of women with more mature skin love the Tom Ford shade and illuminate foundation, but I think it’s very pricey. I would also recommend the Charlotte tilbury light wonder foundation, but the shade range is terrible
