A bit of history: I used to have an insane amount of eye shadow palettes. I declutter most of them and then lost everything else on a move. I’ve never used most of them anyway, but recently I got one of the monochrome Hudas (Ruby Obsessions) from a gifted advent calendar and decided that I would love to return to eye shadow, this time with a thoughtful and curated selection. I would love to have a wide range of pops of color, but also a nice selection of neutrals that go with just about anything. It doesn’t have to be just one palette (1 matte + 1 shimmer or 1 neutral + 1 rainbow is fine too), but I remember feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of shades interchangeable from my previous collection and I would like to avoid that. I’m not on a budget, more concerned with buying versatile, high quality shadows than the price per gram. My “parameters”: Skin tone: Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation in Fair Light Neutral, Armani Luminous Silk in 4, Fenty roundabout 140 Eyes: brown Hair: warm dark brown Age: 24
I don’t know how good the quality is (I’m new to this eyeshadows) but the Morphe Jaclyn Hill palettes have a lot of the color range you’re looking for.
Too faced natural eyes, wet n wild rose in the air, urban decay born to run are my 3 most used
Since your not on a budget have you considered making your own pallet using single shadows?

I like ABH Jackie Aina palette.
And I want to try Persona Cosmetics because of the recommendations I am seeing.
If I had to start over I would start with my Lorac MegaPro to cover the basics, and buy a few specialized smaller palettes and singles geared towards whatever kind of editorial looks I was interested in at the time (neons, glitters, less neutral shimmers, specific color families). Then get at least one magnetic palette so I could create smaller, portable, less overwhelming palettes without buying more when I wanted to focus on a specific look or travel.
