Hey guys i need some good basic eye shadow recs, preferably from drugstore because i’m cheap haha. I used to invest in Urban Decay Starter Potion but I don’t want to spend that much anymore. I have tried ELF eyeshadow primer (much cheaper), but it just doesn’t do a great job, I keep wrinkling. I wonder what everyone is using here for the primer? Also, I’ve heard of some people using NYX jumbo white liner as an eyeshadow primer to make the colors more vivid? If anyone knows of any great methods / tips like this I would be happy to hear it!
Milani’s eyeshadow primer works great for me! Super affordable too.
I like the wet n wild primer and I think it’s comparable to UD primer potion, just a bit thinner but it works well for me. I also use the NYX jumbo crayons in both white and black to make different colors stand out however I always use them over my regular primer. they won’t prevent creasing on their own they just help create a different kind of look.
I’ve used the Essence primer and it’s not too bad for the price! Although I prefer the Fenty primer.
Wet n wild photofocus eyeshadow primer is the only primer I’ve tried that ACTUALLY works on my oily lids. It holds steady for like 10+ hrs! I s2g it’s magic in a tube.
