I recently started trying fakes and have watched dozens of videos and have no idea the answer to this question. I put them on my skin just above my lashes which looks good with invisible stripe (ardell wispies) but recently bought thicker lashes and they look so wacky ?? you can see the skin between my real and fake eyelashes and it looks so bad. I want to wear them without eyeliner (it seems like this is the only way to get rid of that visible skin between real and false eyelashes) so I started to think … is the band supposed to go on real eyelashes? idk what i am doing wrong haha. Please advise. Thank you! 🙂
Sort of both, on the skin where your eyelashes grow, if that makes sense? Thicker bands can be harder. I like to use a pair of tweezers – once they’re on, I put my lashes and the falsies between the tweezers and squeeze, really sandwich them together.

I attach them to the very highest edge of my lashes, so they blend a bit better and so the glue doesn’t hurt when removing them!
