Hi everyone! So sometimes I have to be on camera for work, and being locked out, I gained weight (surprise surprise) and I’m afraid I will have to be in front of the camera again. The industry I work in can be pretty cruel at times, I had a comment about the weight before the lockdown so I’m afraid it’s worse now. Anyone have any great tips for making your face look slimmer, especially on camera? I tried shaping my chin because that’s where I think it’s most noticeable, but I would really appreciate any help!
First off, do you work in a place where those types of comments are acceptable? The only jobs I can imagine where those comments are appropriate for discussion is a model or athlete.
Most other things depending on where you are I’m fairly certain it’s sexual harassment unless having a specific image is part of your job description.
It’s a bummer you feel like you have to go out of your way just so people dont make comments, but if you look up very basic contouring videos, there are techniques that can slim down the face by applying shadows under the cheekbones and along the jawline. You would just want to watch many many videos abs have someone help you find a good contour product for your skin tone. And always start with a very light hand. Best of luck you with going back to work.

It sucks that your audience is so judgemental. If you have long hair, wearing it down and wavy in a way that covers the sides of your face seems to work wonders for my friend who has a slightly chubby face.
